Summary edit
DescriptionBack of the Pickie Pier, Bangor - geograph.org.uk - 1369790.jpg |
English: Back of the Pickie Pier, Bangor. The back of the Pickie Pier seen in 1239412 and 6883866 . One of the construction methods of both piers in Bangor harbour was to employ large precast concrete cubes to dissipate the effects of wave action against the sea wall and prevent waves breaking over the top - see 748627 for a closer look.
The Eisenhower Pier 6883888 is seen at the other side of the harbour. |
