Description: Former castle of the Dukes of Pfalz-Zweibrücken.

Four-wing physical structure, three-storey south wing with round towers.
Reshaping 1720-25, late gothic staircase tower, around 1530, other wings 16th century.
Architect probably Alberlin Tretsch, Stuttgart, sculptural works Michael Henckhell, Meisenheim.
Building inscription 1725.
Extension building with two corner towers, probably under Johann I.
