Summary edit

Description
English: Game Board. Cave 3, Badami

The playing surface is carved into the temple floor. This game has been identified by Malcolm J. Watkins as a variant of mancala. This is a very ancient game played in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia that involves placing seeds or pebbles into one's own board, and capturing those on the opponent's board, according to various rules.
