Summary edit

Description

Dante's View is located about a mile above Badwater, on the eastern side of Death Valley.

Here is a close-up of Badwater, where visitors are still walking on the salty crust.

It was quite balmy down there in the morning when I was walking on the salt crust. Now, in the late afternoon, it is barely above freezing and very windy, up here a mile above.
