English: The Bagmati river is one of the sacred rivers, holy rivers, and the river of civilization. There are many books that have written the importance of the Bagmati river. The banks of the Bagmati river sees much heritage that is built for conducting death rites, sacred activities, and known as temples. From Baghdwar to Chobhar, the Bagmati river has many heritage, temples, and ghats along with artistic sculptures, which have their own historical importance.
