English: Baker & Finnemore Ltd at the Very End of Newhall Street This view was taken from Colmore Row showing the entire length of Newhall Street, Baker & Finnemore 1198967 sits on the site of the original New Hall which was demolished in 1787. It can be seen in the centre of the picture behind the green traffic signal. In 1746 none of the buildings were here and imposing gates at the entrance to the estate stood just in frontof the photographer's position. A reverse view 1198970 |
