Description
English: This mosque is one of the oldest in Zanzibar, built in 1841. It was built by the Sunni Muslims, and have been extended several times since, once in 1841 and then again by Sultan Seyyid Ali bin Said in 1890. The mosque is also known as Malindi mosque is among the 52 mosques in stone town ,Zanzibar .
