| Description |
English: Bank Street, Galashiels This is near the top end of this one-way street with Bank Street Brae entering on the left. The foot of Bank Street Brae is carried over the former Waulkmillhead Mill lade by Round Tree Bridge, erected in the late 19th century. The two red sandstone pillars on the left were erected in 1907 to commemorate Bank Street improvements. The pillars were restored in 2000.
