English: Spring at the bank of river Lahn in Marburg (Trojedamm) near the DJH-Youth-hostel of Marburg. The photo, taken in the evening of 30 March 2016, shows us the bicycle route Lahntalradweg along the river in Marburg, from the South in Landkreis Marburg to the North, near the old village of Weidenhausen, today a part of the city (East of bridge Weidenhäuser Brücke). To the left, you can see the bridge Hirsefeldsteg for pedestrians and cyclists, and in the background behind the blooming tree the Castle up on the hills of Marburger Rücken in the West of the valley. With use of a mouseover (<--en-WP-article) you can jump over the bridge and make a virtual walk up to Landgrafenschloss. |
