English: Baptismal fonts in the Saint Peter's Basilica. Vatican City. Some theory says it may have been the sarcophagus of Emperor Hadrian, from the Mausoleum of Hadrian.
Italiano: Fonte battesimale della basilica di S. Pietro, in porfido rosso. Era in origine il coperchio del sarcofago di Adriano, nel suo mausoleo. Portato nel quadriportico di S. Pietro e variamente usato come sepolcro, fu infine riconvertito in fonte battesimale da Carlo Fontana nel 1698.
