Description President Barack Obama presents the Medal of Honor posthumously to Phil and Maureen Miller, the parents of U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Robert J. Miller, during a ceremony in the East Room of the White House in Washington, D.C., Oct. 6, 2010. Miller received the honor for heroic actions in Afghanistan, Jan. 25, 2008, after sacrificing his life to save the lives of his teammates and 15 Afghanistan soldiers.
