| Description | So, this is kind of funny, and reminded me of <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/istolethetv/4720090579/">the Chupa Chuck shenanigans of 2010</a>). I was at Bondi Beach in Sydney, and saw this dude surfing, and took a picture because it's not every day you see a long-bearded surfer. (At least I don't. I grew up in NYC and living in Hong Kong, and there's not a lot of surf action in either place.) Fast forward a few weeks and I'm looking at Vice Magazine's website, and come across . (<a href="http://www.vice.com/read/some-photos-from-sydney-fashion-week-2013/100159" rel="nofollow">a photo feature on Sydney Fashion week that contains a picture of the bearded surfer</a>) Crazy! I see that his shirt says, "@thechieffunster" so i looked up <a href="https://twitter.com/thechieffunster" rel="nofollow">his twitter</a> , and through that found <a href="https://www.facebook.com/TheChiefFunster" rel="nofollow">his facebook page</a>. Turns out he's trying to be Sydney's Chief Funster. <a href="https://www.facebook.com/TheChiefFunster" rel="nofollow">www.facebook.com/TheChiefFunster</a>. I hope he wins, if only because I am amused the funny coincidence of "seeing" him twice by chance: once in real life, and once on the internet. Good luck landing the gig, dude! |
