Summary edit

Description
English: Barclays Bank - The Royal Library The Royal Library (now Barclays) was built in the early 19th century for visitors to Malvern decades before the Water Cure boom of the 1840s. It was renamed from, simply, the Library House after the visit of Princess Victoria in 1830. The existence of this one building could well have determined whether it was Great Malvern rather than Malvern Wells that blossomed into a town. The spire to the left along the Worcester Road is that of Holly Mount Church built close to the house of the same name where Victoria had stayed in her youth.
