| Transcript | Barra Head is the most southerly point of the Barra Islands in the Outer Hebrides. Its greatest altitude is 680 feet, at which point a lighthouse has been erected. The latter, in spite of its great height, is frequently quite obscured by spray during the raging of a westerly gale. |
