| Description |
English: Part of the ruin of Barton Court, Abingdon-on-Thames, Oxfordshire (formerly Berkshire). This now stands in the middle of a 1970s housing estate that was built on its former farmland. There was a sign here saying that this was the place where Charles I last departed from Queen Henrietta before his execution. The structure was recently reinforced with bricks for safety reasons (just off-camera), and after the works the sign with historical information was not put back. |
