Summary edit

Description
English: Barwythe Lodge and its Gates. The splendid Victorian gates that lead to Barwythe Lodge. A little further on from here is Barwythe Hall, so this building was obviously its lodge house, and these gates would then have been to the hall. The hall is now down a separate private drive - which has less spectacular gates than its former lodgehouse. Ironic really.
