Description
Español: La basílica de Ocotlán, situado en el estado de Tlaxcala, así como en el municipio mismo, es uno de los ejemplos más representativos del estilo barroco churrigueresco en México. Sus orígenes se remontan, desde la aparición de la Virgen María ante Juan Diego Bernardino, un habitante nativo del lugar, en el que le mandaba que le erigiera algo en donde ella pudiera estar, estas apariciones se pueden apreciar en las pinturas del interior de ella; este edificación data desde le siglo XVI. El ladrillo rojo en la vista y el blanoc en sus muros, es muestra inconfundible del estilo barroco-tlaxcalteca. En el interior de ella se puede apreciar el magnífico trabajo del retablo donde se encuentra la Virgen de Ocotlán,
