| Description |
La Basílica del Sagrado Corazón (Sacré Coeur) es uno de los lugares sagrados más importantes de París. Se encuentra situada en lo alto de la colina de Montmartre. La basílica es obra de Paul Abadie, comenzó a construirse en 1875 y se completó en 1914. Fue consagrada como basílica a los cinco años de su construcción, el 16 de octubre de 1919. Tiene 83 metros de longitud, 35 metros de ancho y una torre de 83 metros de altura. Para acceder a la Basílica se puede hacer uso del funicular o subir los 197 escalones de la escalinata. |
