English: Bascule Bridge, Rotherhithe Street, London, SE16 There were two that, at times, made Rotherhithe Street and Redriff Road an island, The second bridge is in Redriff Road and about 200 yards from Lower Road. The Redriff Road bridge was built in 1959 replacing the old wooden narrow bridge. Both now decorative features. See 'Pageants Wharf Fire Station' for additional information. |
