| Description |
English: Base of radar aerial mast - Telecommunications Research Establishment - D site Theses concrete plinths would have a supported a radar mast or some kind. This is at or near D site of TRE Worth, the home of Britain's radar research between 1940-42. There were also Chain Home and Chain Home Low radar stations at Worth Matravers and I am not familiar enough with the site to know what was positioned where - so any assistance to identify this would be welcomed. |
