Transcribed from photograph: "Seattle Portraits. Group. Baseball team of South School. 1905." Transcribed from back of photograph: “South School's 1905 Baseball Team. The team this year tied with Columbia for the school championship, then won the “tie” in an eleven-inning contest at Woodland Park. Columbia was finally given the game, declared forfeited to them on an technical infraction of the rules. The team as photographed above, reading from left to right, included: Top Row- Tom Feek, George Oleson, Harry Williams. Center Row- Karl Drager, “Eve” Watkins, Lew Soon, Carl Oleson Bottom Row- Howard Haisch, William Moore. Harry Williams- was with Chris Sign Co. Carl Oleson- Residence not known. George Oleson- Died from war wounds-1923. Howard Haisch- Dentist in Los Angeles. Karl Drager-Lawyer in Ketchikan, Alaska. William Moore-Is now a C.P.A. Tom Feek-Deceased. Lew Soon- (Brother Lew Kay)-Deceased”
