Description
Veldslag in een heuvelachtig gebied, omgeven door bomen en bosjes. Op de voorgrond: strijdende soldaten, te voet of te paard. Veel soldaten liggen gedood of gewond op de grond. Enkele soldaten worden om het leven gebracht en de doden worden van al hun persoonlijke bezittingen beroofd inclusief hun kleren. Op de heuvel links van het midden enkele soldaten te paard die toekijken. Rechts soldaten, waarvan een met trompet waaraan vaandel hangt. Links een trompetter en een ridder in harnas. Overige versies in de Hermitage in Sint-Petersburg, de Koninklijke Musea voor Schone Kunsten van België in Brussel, het Musée de l'art wallon in Luik en collectie Heulens in Brussel.
