Description
English: Mary Kidd-Plumer, second from left, and her four daughters visit the Battleship Arizona Memorial in Pearl Harbor. The family traveled from Atlanta to Oahu, Hawaii to visit the final resting place of Mary's grandfather, Rear Adm. Isaac C. Kidd, entombed at the USS Arizona Memorial. Kidd was aboard the battleship USS Arizona during the Dec. 7, 1941, Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and died when Arizona exploded and subsequently sank.
