Description
English: Building-stone of the Legio VI Victrix, found in or before 1599 in Birdoswald. Later taken to Naworth Castle, where William Stukeley and John Horsley saw it. Thereafter taken to Rokeby, where it now is. Date AD 43-410 , Inscription: The Sixth Legion Victrix Pia Fidelis built this. (RIB 1916).
