Bavaria an der Theresienhöhe.

In der bildenden Kunst kann die kolossale Bronzestatue in München als bekannteste und gleichzeitig auch monumentalste Darstellung der Bavaria gelten. Sie wurde im Auftrag von König Ludwig I. (1786–1868) in den Jahren 1843–1850 errichtet und steht in baulicher Einheit mit der Ruhmeshalle am Rande der Hangkante oberhalb der Theresienwiese.
