Summary edit

Description
English: Bearreraig Bay. Skye. The building with the blue pipes at the edge of the beach is a 2.4 megawatt hydro-electric power station, fed from the Storr Lochs (and diverting what had been a spectacular waterfall). A funicular railway takes equipment down to the turbine hall (the only railway on Skye). The beach is rich in fossils.
