English: Beaters run to the shelter of the gully by Easter Kellas A mordant wind howls from the north and the beaters rush through the blizzard to the haven of the gully. I paid a heavy price for taking these snaps as my hands froze by the time the drive was over and the pain in reviving them was excruciating. Lesson - wear proper gloves! footnote; if you find yourself lost in a blizzard without a compass do not despair! A quick glance at the angle of the spaniels ears if compared to the direction of the forecast wind will keep you within a few degrees! |
