English: Beccles and Bungay workhouse, Shipmeadow. The former Beccles and Bungay workhouse. Built in 1767 and used as a workhouse until just after World War 1, then became a hospital. Now it is private houses. The buildings are in the shape of an H, around two courtyards, the north-westerly one being seen here.
