Description
Deutsch: Das Bild zeigt eine zweistellige Gasentladungs-Siebensegmentanzeige aus dem Jahr 1974. Sie funktioniert also wie eine Glimmlampe. Bei dieser Bauform können mehrere dieser Anzeigen aneinandergereiht werden. Hersteller dieser "Panaplex"-Anzeigen war Beckman Instruments, die 1973 Sperry Information Displays übernommen hatten. Eine typische Anwendung waren Uhren. Dafür gab es neben dieser Anzeige, die für Stunden und Minuten verwendet werden konnte, etwas kleinere (z.B. SP-332) für die Sekunenanzeige.
