Description
English: Belfast by the back door. The back road from Bangor and Newtownards to Belfast comes via Craigantlet cross roads and descends, by a 1 in 9 gradient, to the Belmont Road. Belfast starts abruptly here – there is no 50 or 40 speed limit just straight into the 30 from the country and farms. The cranes and what remains of the Harland & Wolff shipyard can be seen in the middle background.
