English: Below Tyrley Bottom Lock, Shropshire Union Canal, Staffordshire. The narrow boat "Bolitho" will enter the lock, which is deeply cut into the sandstone bedrock, visible on the right. The canal follows the county border northwards here; Shropshire is to the west of the fences above the banking on the left, and the canal and all land to the right (east) is in Staffordshire. |
