Deutsch: Sitz der Deutsche Guggenheim, Unter den Linden 15, Ecke Charlottenstraße, in Berlin-Mitte. Das Gebäude wurde 1922-1925 von den Architekten Richard Bielenberg und Alfred Moser als zweite Erweiterung (Bauteil III) der Zentrale der Disconto Bank errichtet. Mit ihm setzte sich die Tradition der Berliner Bankpaläste der Kaiserzeit fort. zusammen mit den anliegenden Bauten der Disconto-Bank war dieses Gebäude von 1933-1945 Sitz des Reichsarbeitsministeriums. Es steht unter Denkmalschutz.
English: The seat of Deutsche Guggenheim, Unter den Linden 15, corner of Charlottenstraße in Berlin-Mitte. It was built 1922-1925 by the architects Richard Bielenberg and Josef Moser as second annex (Part III) to the head office of Disconto Bank. Its design is in the tradition of the "bank palaces" of the German Empire. Together with the other former buildings of Disconto Bank, it was the seat of the Reichsarbeitsministerium (Reich Labor Ministry) in the Nazi era. The building is landmarked. |
