Description
English: Berwickshire Ring. Power lines near Gordon Moss. This is part of an upgrade of the power supply in Berwickshire which was completed a few years ago. The lines used to run further up the field but were relocated to reduce the potential for weather damage. An overnight ice storm about ten years ago caused major power failures and some of the previous metal pylons broke under the weight of ice on the lines.
