English: Beside Thorpe & Haddiscoe Fleet This rabble of cattle (herd would be too genteel a description) were grazing in the marsh alongside the ditch called Thorpe & Haddiscoe Fleet. They were a very mixed bunch and some more than just inquisitive but if you don't let yourself be intimidated by cattle, even by large beasts, and walk towards them firmly they will back off. Don't try this with a mature bull, though. |
