Description Die erste Seebrücke erhielt das Ostseebad Binz im Jahr 1902. Sie war aus Holz gefertigt und 560 m lang. Zwei Jahre später zerstörte eine Sturmflut diese Brücke. 1905 wurde sie wieder aufgebaut und erhielt 1910 den Namen "Prinz-Heinrich-Brücke". Im Jahre 1912 brach bei einem Anlegemanöver ein Balken, 50 Menschen fielen ins Wasser, 14 verloren davon ihr Leben. Im Winter 1942/43 wurde die marode Brücke durch den Frost völlig zerstört. Die jetzige Brücke besteht seit 1994 und ist 370 m lang und wird jeden Tag von Fahrgastschiffen angelaufen, die zu den Kreidefelsen, Kap Arkona, Sassnitz, Sellin, Göhren, Usedom und Bornholm auslaufen.
