Français : Le déterminant H de type 1 est synthétisé dans les tissus épithéliaux des individus sécréteurs. Le déterminant H de type 2 est synthétisé dans les cellules de la lignée érythrocytaire. Chacun des déterminant H peut ensuite être transformé en déterminant A ou B selon le groupe sanguin-tissulaire de l'individu.
English: The biosynthesis of type 1 H determinant occurs in epitehial cells of secretor individuals. The biosynthesis of type 2 H occurs in cells of the erythroid lineage. Each determinant can be transformed into A or B determinant according to the histo-blood group of the carrier.
