La bandiera è composta da tre colori: giallo, azzurro e rosso. La bandiera rappresenta il suo territorio e il suo essre Libera Repubblica. In giallo in basso su due cunette sono rappresentate le dune e il deserto; in alto in azzurro il cielo; in rosso al centro il sole. Il sole ha forma geometrica regolare a sei punte. Il sole rappresenta la Libera Repubblica con i suoi raggi che si diramano sui vari punti cardinali (come una rosa dei venti) in rappresentanza dell'intero mondo unito in uno stato fondato sulla Pace.English: Official flag of the Free Republic Bir Tawil.
The flag is made up of three colors: yellow, blue and red. The flag represents its territory and its free republic. The dunes and the desert are represented in yellow at the bottom on two humps; above in blue the sky; in red in the center the sun. The sun has a regular six-pointed geometric shape. La flago konsistas el tri koloroj: flava, blua kaj ruĝa. La flago reprezentas sian teritorion kaj sian liberan respublikon. La dunoj kaj la dezerto estas flavaj flanke ĉe du ĝiboj; supre en blua la ĉielo; ruĝe en la centro la suno. La suno havas regulan ses-pintan geometrian formon.
