Description
English: This is the 1960s built Birmingham Central Synagogue on Pershore Road / Speedwell Road.

The building was opened in the early 1960's and was still in use in 2008, although the membership numbers had dropped.

There are plans to build a much smaller Synagogue on the site of the Malcolm Lock Hall, then demolish this one.

It all depends on getting approval from Birmingham City Council, and Calthorpe Estates.

Plans are to sell this site and build houses here.
