DescriptionBizarre ancient Hastings-Deering flight stair truck (9700518618).jpg |
Photo taken by my father who was working on the tarmac at Christchurch Airport and saw these two old stair trucks. The other truck is a BMC Mastiff with Laird badging. He took a close up of the badge on this one - I'll have to find it and see what it is. There are all sorts of bizarre vehicles in use around the airport, as they don't have to be road registered. A lot of them are quite old too as they aren't thrashed and driven a lot. EDIT: This appears to be an Australian-manufactured Hastings-Deering. |
