L'aérodrome des Groues se trouvait sur le champ de manoeuvre des Groues dans le nord-ouest d'Orléans ; c'était le siège de l'« aéro-club du Centre » qui a pris à bail en juillet 1908 une partie du terrain de l'armée et y construit un bâtiment, financé par la commune, au nord-ouest du champ de manoeuvre.
