It was co-founded by Nellie Rathbone Bright and Arthur Fauset, and included contributions from Mae Virginia Cowdery, Jessie Redmon Fauset, Marita Bonner, and Gwendolyn B. Bennett. Allan Randall Freelon was the magazine's artistic director. |
