Well, I think it's blackthorn - quite like hawthorn to look at but the bark is darker, and it flowers before coming into leaf. Worth a peek at the large version, IMHO. Ordinary lens (18-55mm zoom) rather than macro because I just grabbed the camera as we went out for a walk. Levels tweaked and a slight sharpen. |
