Description Sign for DLR Blackwall station. In the background, four brutalist architecture buildings can be seen. From left to right: Glenkerry House (immediately right of the sign), Carradale House, Balfron Tower. These three comprise the Brownfield Estate and were designed by Erno Goldfinger. The partial building at the right edge of the image is Robin Hood Gardens, designed by brutalist architecture pioneers Peter and Alison Smithson. All four buildings are public housing projects.
