Description

A team consisting of staff and volunteers from Toledo Institute for Development (TIDE) and Ya'axche Conservation Trust hiked in to the pristine Bladen Nature Reserve in the Maya Mountains of southern Belize to conduct an inventory of bird species within the protected area. A total of 92 species, of which 14 were migrants, were observed. This represents 27.3% of all species recorded in BNR to date (337).
