Description
English: In 1923 the first mention of Blanchard Auto Repair Company appeared in The Seattle Daily Times, as the builders of a special "California top," a form of early pillarless hardtop designed to replace the folding roofs of touring cars providing for better weather protection. The repair shop, located at Fourth Avenue and Blanchard Street, advertised in Seattle until 1926.
