Español: Blas Wilfredo Omar Jaime, hablante nativo de la Lengua Chaná en Salsipuedes, frente al Monumento a la Matanza en las proximidades de Tiatucurá; sucedió en el marco de la visita realizada a instancias y por organización e invitación del Consejo de la Nación Charrúa - CONACHA. Don Blas participó del campamento acostumbrado en homenaje a los caídos en la Masacre de Salsipuedes que se realiza anualmente por parte de las Organizaciones Charrúas, con concurrentes de los 3 países en que esta etnia se encuentra presente. Ya es tradición pernoctar en el lugar al menos una noche, como forma de homenaje y de revitalización cultural de la vida comunitaria ancestral charrúa.
Português: Blas Wilfredo Omar Jaime, falante nativo da língua Chaná em Salsipuedes, em frente ao Monumento à Matança, nas proximidades do Povoado de Tiatucurá. A visita aconteceu a pedido de, e por organização e convite do Conselho da Nação Charrúa - CONACHA. Don Blas participou do acampamento tradicional em homenagem aos mortos no Massacre de Salsipuedes, realizado anualmente pelas organizações Charrúas, com participantes vindos dos três países em que esse grupo étnico está presente. Já é tradição passar pelo menos uma noite no local, como forma de homenagem e revitalização cultural da vida comunitária ancestral charrúa.
English: Blas Wilfredo Omar Jaime, native speaker of the Chaná language in Salsipuedes, in front of the Monument to the Slaughter near the Town of Tiatucurá. The visit happened at the request of, and by organization and invitation of the Council of the Charrúa Nation - CONACHA. "Don Blas" participated in the already traditional camp, in tribute to those killed in the Salsipuedes Massacre that is carried out annually by the Charrúas Organizations, with concurrents from the 3 countries in which this ethnic group is present. It is a tradition to spend at least one night in the place, as a way of homage and cultural revitalization of the Charrúa ancestral communitary life. |
