Español: Esta obra es el panel central de un retablo que estuvo dedicado a la Virgen María y en el que la madre de Dios aparecía entronizada y con el niño Jesús sentado en su rodilla izquierda. A la derecha de la Virgen aparece arrodillado, y en actitud orante, el caballero Mosén Sperandeu de Santa Fe, que está vestido a la moda propia de su época y da nombre a la tabla.
