Summary

Description
English: Bo Peep Bostal. A minor road leading to the car park near Bostal Hill. The lane was built over the original Roman terraceway. To the left are the remains of an old chalk pit whilst in the distance is Wilmington Hill. Bo Peep Lane gets its name from the farm of the same name at the foot of the hill and may have connections with smugglers who certainly used this route over the Downs connecting the then secluded beach in Seaford Bay to the smuggling gang's bases in the Wealden villages of Mayfield, Groombridge and Hawkhurst.
