Description
Deutsch: Der Uferbereich dieses Teilstücks des Bodenseeufers wurde in den letzten beiden Jahrzehnten durchgehend nach ökologischen Gesichtspunkten umgestaltet: Kaimauern und bauliche Uferbefestigungen wurden beseitigt; der Uferbereich wurde abgeflacht, um eine naturnahe Uferzone zu vergrößern und die Habitatfunktion der Flachwasserzone zu stärken.
English: During the last two decades the beach area of this part of Lake Constance had been redesigned according to ecollogical criteria. Concrete walls along the beach had been removed; the shore had been flattened in order to enlarge the beach area as well as to strengthen the habitat function of the shallow water zone.
