English: Caricature of Napoleon I. (British political cartoon); A bust of Napoleon spits out the word: Invasion. Snakes circle his helmet, with Rapine, Lust, and Murder emerging from their mouths. A demon and a skeleton sit atop the helmet. Napoleon's heart can be seen, coloured white with a green island, England, in the centre. Swords and lances have stabbed it, labelled Wilson's Narrative and British Press, and the pieces torn out are Egypt, Acre, and Irel[and]. |
